Wij willen jullie jeugd van harte uitnodigen om deel te nemen aan een unieke play-in.

Op 19 november organiseert Crescendo in Grolloo een jeugd play-in m.m.v. Ivo Kouwenhoven. Van 9.30 tot 16.00 uur. De kosten bedragen slechts €7,50 p.p. incl. lunch en 5 muziekstukken. Het is bedoeld voor leerlingen tot B niveau. Graag voor 1 november opgeven.

(Three finalists will be chosen to conduct : for a one hour rehearsal on March 17th and on the final concert on March 18th )

competition regulations :

1/ The competition is open to all conductor’s of any nationality without age limit.
2/ The first round will be held on 16 March 2012 and the finals will be on 18 march 2012 at 5 pm. The final round is open to the public.
3/ The competition registration fee is 50 euros.
4/ The Contestants will be notified as to what time they will compete in the first round. Contestants names will be randomly drawn on 1 march 2012 the scheduled according to the order in which they were drawn. Deadline of sending back the application form : 1 march 2012.
5/ The juries decisions cannot be appealed. The Jury reserves the right to interrupt candidate when necessary.

De Twirlingstars uit Bergen op Zoom organiseren op 23 en 24 mei a.s. een twirlmarathon voor het goede doel, voor Kika. Meedoen kost E 5,-- en hiervoor in ruil krijg je lessen aangeboden van o.a. Nieuwjaarsconcert Provinciale Brassband Groningen o.l.v. Sietse Hamersma

Als gastsolist dit jaar cornettist Philip Cobb, bekend van de Engelse Cory Band (winnaar EBK 200 en recentelijk aangenomen bij het London Symphonic Orchestra. De presentatie van dit concert is in handen van Jacques d’Ancona.
